Cover with second piece of wood to create the holes,

through which the 2.5mm bamboo strip can be treated to make the weave.

Walkway near Complete

 

Just the roof tiling to complete. Houseworks , the company which supplied the Spanish Barrel tile sheets, no longer make them. So, after a few aborted attempts to make a look a like substitute, 

the result - 15 -17 a day to make over 700 tiles to cover the roof.  3 months should do it!!

A start.

All in days or twos work, or should that be play?

Doing a bit of 'reburb' on the kitchen half.  When complete, the B & W house will have accommodation for a cook, a houseboy, a gardener and a driver.  Also a kitchen and a garage.

Outhouse Completed.

Completed today. This is only half of the structure, the other half to be done during 2020.

Last day of 2019, and the doors and shutters are on, as are the lights. Vent roof cover still need attention.

B & W Outhouse

At last, gotten round to making the servants quarters and the cook house to complete the Black and White estate.

The proofing model for the model, not an exact copy of the original, size wise. Two staff rooms only and shorter over all dimensions.

After a couple of corrections, the walls are up - almost.
